9:42 pm - Trade Cds . . .

version20
Hey. I have 50 invites for "LaLa" - The CD trading service.

It's basically like Netflixx. You make a list of the CDs you want and the CDs you want to trade. Then, the service sends you envelopes and cases to trade with other members. It costs about $1 to trade each CD.

It's much cheaper than your local CD store and you save on the shipping it would cost to shop used on Amazon.com.

Reply with your email and I'll send you an invite.

I've traded about 100 CDs and have gotten rid of all the crappy CDs I owned.

Malemen
We are a Chicago punk band, and that is it. We play what we like to hear, because no one else is doing it. The band was formed out of a necessity for something refreshing and comfortable.

Dateless (Seattle)
Dateless was born out of boredom of living in the quiet rural highway town of longview WA by songwriters and long time friends, chris crusher (bass/vocals) and le-vy (guitar/vocals). the band did a couple tours and released some demos before growing up and moving out of their small town. After a couple years they found each other in the city of seattle and decided to give dateless another shot. This time they got together with kevin lafontaine (guitar) and later brandon thomas (drums), both long time friends who also grew up in the equally boring rural highway town of monroe WA. Each member brings a little uniqueness, persona and influence but everyone agrees on making it the best pop music possible and giving a crowd an entertaining show while staying true to their punk rock roots.

9:24 pm - looking for roommates

evilon
crossposted like whoa.

okay. so. my roommate and i are looking to get us a loft. our lease expires on april 31st so we'd be looking to move to the new place towards the end of april. we need either one or two more people to seal the deal.

basically we'd be using the place for creative purposes, gallery showings, an occasional show, a few (rent) parties here and there.

we have two places that are kinda in question right now. one in east village and one in the west loop. the east village place has three bedrooms but they could add another one, it's 3600 sq ft and pretty spacious. (THERE'S ALSO A TRAP DOOR). the neighbourhood is plenty sexy with cowboy and liquor stores. there's a washer and dryer in the unit as well as a dishwasher. and a jacuzzi. and roof access. the chicago bus takes you right to the loop. the rent you'd have to pay would probably be about 5-600, depending if there's a fourth person. also from the way it seems both the landlord and the maintaince guy are pretty chill.

the second place is a little cheaper, but there's already four bedrooms built in. it's not really rehabbed but there's easy roof access, a freight elevator, and it's minutes away from the loop. the rent on that would be 4-550ish.

we're definitely leaning towards the first place seeing as it's got everything in it.

as far as us, we're pretty easy going, enjoy good music, fine wine, and are pretty techy, so the place would definitely be sexied up. we're not too picky, but as long as you can pay the rent on time and handle a party you're a-okay.

so. if you or anyone you know needs a place to live sometime soon hit me up on aim (teh kamil) or just comment or something.
